  Amazing little bookstore with other neat oddities, was not expecting the level of service I got. Went with family a few days ago and a young man helped us find exactly what we were looking for and even helped us buy a blanket for our newborn at a discount. Highly recommended little gem.

  Thanks for posting this, Vivian. We're so sorry that this happened. When customers redeem points for rewards we do normally ask for identification. We have many Plum Rewards members who lend their cards to family or friends, so our team asks to see another piece of ID to verify that the name registered to the card matches the person requesting to receive the reward. We want to respect the account holder's right to choose when his or her points are used. That said, we should have done a much better job of explaining our request - we inadvertently let you feel singled out by what certainly appeared to be an arbitrary request. That is our fault to be sure. We are hoping that you will read this response and come see us the next time you visit the mall, and that we can address your concerns in person. Coles LloydMall

  I bought several books and toys for my kids today and when I presented my indigo card to the cashier He asked me for my ID. I have never been asked for and ID before and found it very racist and not nice at all. I will buy online or in Edmonton or Saskatoon.
